6th Grade Blog

The End is Near! The 6th graders have been working hard this week at preparing for their finals. With less than two weeks of school left in the year, they are so close to becoming 7th graders! Before they wrap up the year though, they presented their group projects on another ending- the end of a star's life. The projects that they worked on during science class last week were wonderfully creative and unique, and we had fun learning about the life cycles of different sized stars during the presentations.    

This week the sixth-grade students presented research at their their very Science Fair Expo! We are all very proud of their inquiry skills, report writing, and public speaking.  In the midst of putting finishing touches on the Science Fair Expo presentations, they were hard at work on learning about the life cycle of stars. Check out their research and models below! The middle school has been loving outdoor recess in the sunshine!
